Question on a UX (in english...)

  • Hello all Sinn-fans - I write to you in english, because my german isn't very good.
I have a slight problem; This weekend i recieved my UX, which i got from this very forum - an right away i noticed that it was loosing time (in the order of 2-3 seconds a day!!)
And then today i wanted to correct the time, AND IT STOPPED - HORROR!!!

    Anyone with a solution - or maybe just a hint..... ?? :(

Hi and welcome to the forum! :)

What you have described sounds like a short-circuit or some other default in the electronics to me. Usually the battery lasts seven years (no UX has been on the market for that long), and the watch keeps time quite accurately - it should gain no more than 8 seconds per year (0.02 sec/day).

Did you indeed buy the watch from another member of this forum? I can't imagine that anyone here would knowingly sell a faulty watch without explicitly stating that it is defective.

Please keep us up to date. If you prefer being discrete about the identity of the seller, you may use the PN (private message) function to clarify the affair with the seller himself prior to contacting others or seeking publicity.

I do not want to disclose anything about who sold me that watch.
The watch is still under guarantee, so this is a matter between me, and the Sinn factory.....

I was merely seeking advice amont the professionals here....
