Actually its the other way around, the 1340 is the low grade version with 17j and some (at least one that I know of) parts in the movement where as the 1341 is the high grade version with 22j and only metal parts. The respective omega versions are the 1040-1041 with the 1041 being a 22j certified chronometer....I own and service both...
