the answer is not easy. The correct Sinn model number depends on the diameter of the case, is it 36 or 40 mm? The 36mm is called a 8826A Ti 18 KT (Titanium/Gold) with a full illuminated dial and has a ETA 2892-A2 calibre with Swiss chronometer rating (was not standard). Both, the crown as well as the bezel-inlay are made of 18 kt-Gold. Should the case diameter be 40mm, your watch would be called a type 8828 A Ti 18 KT. With its bolt-down crown the watch had a 20 bar rating, a true "diver".

Hi Amoz 77,
as I already pointed out, the watch that you show us on your pictures is a fully legitimate watch, which was marketed in a number of different variants. I suggest you either search here in our forum or by using any search engine search for Sinn 8828. I trust you will be surprised by the number of different styles.
The 8828 A Ti 18 KT Chronometer was the costly variant, and if you happen to have documentation/chronometer certificate, a original titanium band and the original Sinn-box, you would own a real gem.

Ammoz 77, Tough question you`r asking.
No idea if the watch needs to be serviced, keep this addtl cost in mind! Sinn is asking 290€ for service, as of this Jan 01.
If you are not a watch collector but rather want to wear this watch, you must not worry so much about missing box and papers.
Ownership of these would help in case you want to sell the watch in the future.
My guess for a price-range is from near or below 500 to 750€.
Lets see, if you get more answers from my colleagues.

Es handelt sich um eine Sinn 8828 Taucheruhr, die es in Titan pur, aber auch mit vergoldeter Gelbgoldlünette und Titan-/vergoldetem Metallarmband gab. Meine habe ich 1995 neu gekauft, als zweites Armband das zweifarbige. Irgendwann habe ich das schwarze Zifferblatt gegen das tritiumbeschichtete leuchtende getauscht, was nicht von Dauer war. Das Zifferblatt leuchtete nach Jahren nicht mehr und wurde daraufhin wieder gegen das vorhandene schwarze getauscht.

I didn't realize that Amoz77 might be more comfortable with the English language, so here more or less the same information as above. The model is a 8828 Diver from the 1990's which was available in titanium including a titanium bracelet or in a two color version with gold plated bezel and inner bracelet links. I got mine in 1995 first with a black dial, changed it later to the reflecting tritium coated dial, which looked after years awful and was changed back to the still exisiting black dial.

As long as your watch is running well, which means that it keeps the time within the appropriate standard, you shouldn't worry about a service. The watch will tell you wwhen a service is needed by falling behind in accuracy.
